The Els Club Vilamoura
The Els Club Vilamoura is a high-end golf complex featuring a restaurant, bars, a pro shop, wellness areas, private rooms, and extensive outdoor spaces.
The project involved the design and implementation of a professional distributed audio system capable of adapting to different zones and schedules, with independent area control and reliable operation both indoors and outdoors. Ecler solutions were selected to ensure full compatibility, ease of configuration, and the possibility of future system expansions.

System Architecture
At the heart of the system is the HUB1616 digital matrix, responsible for routing, processing, and distributing audio signals across all zones. It allows precise adjustment of levels, equalization, and source assignment, ensuring consistent sound throughout the complex.
Amplification is handled by AURA Series multichannel amps, including the AURA-4B900 (4 × 900 W) and AURA-4B600 (4 × 600 W LoZ/HiZ). Each output is matched to the speaker type for stable performance, even during peak usage.
For flexible audio playback, an eSAS-BT unit provides Bluetooth connectivity for background music and on-demand content.
Daily control is simple: the PULSO-10 touchscreen panel lets staff select zones and adjust volume without technical expertise.
The system runs over an IP network, supported by a NETGEAR GSM4210PD switch (8 × 1G PoE+), ensuring stable communication and preparing the setup for future expansions or remote monitoring.

Indoor restaurant & outdoor terrace: NIMBO-24 (2 × 4”) speakers for clear midrange and controlled directivity, ideal for busy spaces.
Central bar & social areas: NIMBO-24 speakers maintain tonal consistency and uniform coverage.
Outdoor bar & nearby areas: eMOTUS8OD 8” outdoor speakers offer weather-resistant clarity and intelligibility.
Golf shop, foyer & lounge: Combination of NIMBO-14 (1 × 4”) and NIMBO-24 for acoustic comfort and aesthetic integration.
Restrooms, changing rooms & spa: VIC6 (6.5”) ceiling speakers provide discreet background music and announcements.
Gardens & outdoor access: IG108 (100 W) ground speakers deliver immersive sound while blending into the landscape.
Private rooms & members’ areas: DROP6 pendant speakers, complemented by VIC6 units, offer independent control and acoustic optimization for meetings or tastings.
Results
The multizone audio system at The Els Club Vilamoura delivers consistent, flexible, and scalable sound. Each component—from the HUB1616 matrix to the Ecler speakers—works together seamlessly, creating a high-quality audio experience across every part of the club.
