Hotel Het Hoge Duin - Netherlands
Perched atop a dune in Wijk aan Zee, 40 meters above sea level, lies Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin. A unique location with one of the most beautiful views on the Dutch coast. After a major renovation and expansion, the hotel is ready to offer guests an even more comfortable stay by the sea.

Skybar with a view and sound
A completely new interior design was created for this renovation. Modern, warm and comfortable, with plenty of attention to the impressive view of the sea and dunes. One of the eye-catchers is the Skybar, where atmosphere and experience take centre stage. Naturally, this also requires a suitable audio system.
Bob Sol from AVgek provided the full audiovisual design and chose the Ecler NIMBO24 loudspeakers for the Skybar, the restaurant and the buffet. With their rounded design and gold finish, they fit perfectly with the retro-chic interior. The high-end audio quality creates a relaxed, subtle sound image that blends seamlessly into the ambience of the space. Perfectly captured in the photos by photographer Marlies Dekker.
Panorama hall with stylish power
The spacious Panorama hall for events and parties is also equipped with Ecler. Here, the more powerful NIMBO26 was chosen, which—thanks to its higher output—is perfectly suited for larger groups without compromising on appearance or sound quality.
Music enhances the guest experience
At Het Hoge Duin, they know better than anyone that music contributes to hospitality. That’s why each space is equipped with speakers that match the function and atmosphere of the environment. Bob Sol recommended, among others, the Ecler eMOTUS5 for the terraces, VIC6 in-ceiling speakers for traffic areas and fitness, and the moisture-resistant eIC52MS for the wellness area. In the meeting rooms, ARQIS105i and ARQIS205i are used, supported by matching subwoofers for a full, powerful sound.
Professional presentations, relaxed dining
With this investment, Hotel Het Hoge Duin shows that they take audiovisual technology seriously. Whether it’s a compelling presentation, a vibrant party or a relaxing dinner after a day at the beach, everything at Het Hoge Duin sounds exactly as it should.
