Tesco is a British-based international grocery and general merchandising retail chain. It is the largest British retailer and in 2008 became the world's fourth largest retailer.

Tesco launched in Hungary in 1994 after purchasing KMart's operations in the area and nowadays operates through 101 stores in Hungary with further openings planned.



Tesco has now opened a brand new warehouse in Ullo, near Budapest, equipped with an Ecler background system. The installation includes the following item:

20 x PHS20T
20 x AMBIT103
8 x ATR6
1 x MPA4-400R
2 x DLA600

The installation works in four different zones. Two of them are inside the stock area, where the PHS20T loudspeakers are on the wall for background music and information. The third zone is located in the offices, with AMBIT 103 and ATR6 as the perfect solution for meeting rooms where controlling volume is very important. The fourth zone is at common areas such as bars and restaurants.
