Last summer (2010) the new sports & wellness centre “Centro Deportivo Municipal Putxet” was officially opened in Barcelona city (Spain). In its facilities you can practice several sport activities and also take care of your health, thanks to some SPA areas.

It includes two indoor swimming-pools to let users practice swimming and also enjoy several water therapies.

Also available there we can find a thermal water area, supervised activities, fitness, yoga and pilates rooms, cafeteria, medical and cosmetics centre and solarium zones.



The building uses an ECLER ENVIRO system for the background music and paging management, feeding a total of 10 different zones which employ this amount of loudspeakers:
 

• 33 ECL106 (in-ceiling loudspeaker)
• 22 IC6 (in-ceiling loudspeaker)
• 7 PRS10T (sound projector)
• 44 AMBIT106 (surface loudspeaker cabinet)

The amplification is driven by both the ENVIRO and DPA series.

The cosmetic and thermal zones can use a local sound source, being managed by the MIMO54 analogue audio matrix and amplified with AMPACK series amplifiers.

The spinning, swimming-pool and supervised activities areas use VERSO series loudspeakers and DPA series amplifiers, with the SAM512T model as the chosen preamplifier and the AMIC DSP card as the equaliser-processor.
